We had a Fall Fest last Sunday at our church. The kids were allowed to wear costumes as long as they were not scary, evil looking, or violent. I was not going to go out and buy new costumes for the kids so they had to make due with what we had around the house. Sam went as Batman, Ben was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Makayla was a pilot, and Nathan was a super hero. You may notice that he is not wearing a costume. That is because he told me he doesn't need one - he is a super hero. No costume needed. I did have to convince him he had to wear clothes. He wanted to go in his socks and underwear - ONLY his socks and underwear. It is never boring with that child. You never know what he is going to come up with.
The kids had fun playing games and running around with their friends. I had fun talking with adults. A good time was had by all.
